Second Annual HTML5 Day

This is the HTML5 cake for the second annual HTML5 Day.

Today is the second annual HTML5 Day. It has to be true because I made a cake! Actually my wife made the cake. I ate the cake. It was good or as they use to say in In Living Color, “It was two snaps up and a circle”.

HTML5 has made great advancements over the past year. It even has an official logo now! A logo is important as you can see from the difference in HTML5 cakes via my HTML5 Flickr stream. You can even get HTML5 gear for you or that special someone in your life. Profits of every HTML5 shirt go to a good cause; the development of the HTML5 test suite.

Hopefully, you are going or are at Adobe’s HTML5 Camp at the Hudson Theater in New City today. Last year, HTML5 looked like it was going to bring down Adobe. Now it appears that it could be the other way around. The second largest piece of HTML5 cake goes to Adobe this year. They launched Adobe Edge, added HTML5 packs to Dreamweaver and Illustrator, and help create an “Adobe-curated” resource website for the advancement of HTML5 and CSS3.

I hope you have a safe and happy HTML5 Day!

The 3 most important things you need to know about me: I love most things HTML5 related, I live in Japan, and I am not a big fan of deodorant. I am Stan. You can call me Stan. I am a man but I am not "the man". Sometimes people call me Dan if I do not speak loud enough. Some people still call me Dan.
